Learning-Creativity
Santa is real
Since I can imagine a Santa Claus, I can imagine a world of generosity, joy, the delight of surprise, goodwill, and celebrating the child within us all.
Be a courageous learner
It takes courage to share new learning. You might be scoffed and ridiculed because others don’t get it.
Take time to stretch your mind
By staying mentally flexible from daily stretching, you can live in a mental land where you never grow old.
Energy flows where attention goes
You cannot excel at something you don’t spend any time thinking about.
INLightenment can be both liberating and terrifying
INLightenment requires a truth teller and a willing listener.
Potential is God-given, success is your creation
We hear a lot about potential as a way of encouraging ourselves. Another way of encouraging potential is to look at our successes.
Go out and see what you can find
Check out what’s going on around you as a matter of casual exploration. No agenda. Just wholesome curiosity.
Learn to sail into the wind
When you hit the headwinds of adversity, find your angle of approach so that the adversity creates some advantage instead of letting it stop you.
Receive what comes to nurture you
I have become more INPowered as I have become more curious about new experiences, especially if they might help me grow or mature as a person—that will nurture me.
Cross-train for excellence
When we explore the habits and behaviors of the exceptional, we often find that they developed their talents by training in areas other than their specialty.
Go deep. Seek Understanding.
Going deep on an issue takes a willingness to know and understand information that will help us make good choices.
Be hungry for healthful knowledge
Our intellectual health is similar to our physical health in that junk food will provide the calories to keep us alive, but not provide the nutrients to keep us healthy.
